A recent British survey reveals that the global building and control systems market (BACS) is expected to be worth just over $26 billion by 2019. The total world BACS market is expected to grow by almost 4 per cent per annum to account for just over $ 26 billion in 2019. The BSRIA study reveals that currently there are a growing numbers of BACS systems with data analytics/building energy management systems (BEMS) across all geographical areas. In some countries, the role of system integrators and control contractors has become more important whereas in other countries, manufacturers are increasingly providing value-added service directly.
