The Belgian spin-off SENSO2ME from the University of Ghent has developed an Internet of Things (IoT) solution. This home care solution contains smart sensors installed in the rooms of elderly and will help them to stay longer safely in their home.
The systems consists of little smart sensors with “Click2Call Me” button, the modern version of the classic buttons. A touch on the button will inform a volunteer caregiver via SMS, e-mail or phone. The system immediately informs caregivers of an alarming situation.
The SENSO2ME project is a great hit in Silicon Valley because this solution will help elderly to stay as long as possible in their home.
