Belgian start-up focuses on home care automation

The Belgian health start-up, FamilyEye, has developed a patented system that can detect when someone falls in his house. A that moment a message is automatically sent to the pre-registered persons.

The start-up has also developed two modules for activity monitoring and social contact. The FamilyEye sensor can observe self-care-dependent people and thus detect changes in their life pattern at an early stage. The social contact module helps these people to stay in contact with their loved ones via sound and image.
