IFA is the world’s leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances. The show opened its doors September 2nd and a wide range of new products were unveiled.
- Netatmo presented their smart radiator valve compatible with Apple HomeKit. Netatmo’s Smart Thermostat lets you control your HVAC system from your iPhone and the new Smart Valves apply the same concept to room-by-room heating radiators by replacing standard knobs.
- LG unveiled a smart fridge, the LG Smart InstaView. This smart fridge is using a 29-inch touchscreen on Windows 10. That means you can launch all kinds of Windows apps on the fridge as well as LG’s own Windows 10 apps.
- Devolo has presented new flush-mounted components for existing wall switches, dimmers and shutter controls being part of the Devolo Home Control.
- Siemens presented its integrated Smart Home with connected and integrated smart appliances. The Home Connect app allows to control all your home appliances via a unifying platform.
- Bosch Smart Home has expanded its home automation system with security appliances like camera’s and smoke alarms.
