This year we could discover a trend towards cloud applications. Cloud computing is a type of Internet-based computing where different services, such as servers, storage and applications, are delivered to an organization’s computers and devices (smartphone, tablet) through the Internet.
People become more and more interested in the remote control of their house such as controlling the security system, the comfort, etc. The home and building automation manufacturers respond to this trend by introducing the remote control of integrated home automation systems by means of cloud applications.
