The home automation system Tebis from Hager is based on KNX; the official standard for technical control of houses and other buildings. Hager has developed “easy link” (configuration tool TXA 100), a simplified programming method that will help installers to program the home automation system in a user-friendly way. The configuration kit TXA 100 will enable the installer to program more easily and more efficiently. The KNX installation has to be configured when all products are installed. This configuration is done by means of the configuration tool TXA 100 consisting of:
- a configuration server. This is a central unit containing a program enabling the configuration of the installation. The server disposes of a KNX and Ethernet connection.
- a Wi-Fi router for the connection between the configuration server and the user interfaces (PC, tablets, smartphone, etc.)
- a KNX-bus power supply and 24V = the power supply has a tension of 24V = for the configuration server and 30V for the KNX bus components when necessary.
