Vilans, a knowledge centre for long term care, did last year research on the new generation of automated home surveillance systems for the intramural dementia care and the care for people with disabilities. This new generation can possibly contribute to the reduction of false notifications.
One of the central topics was the level of false notifications versus signaling important notifications. These first research results are promising and are showing a reduction of false notifications.
