A recent study on smart home trends revealed that the Belgian consumer is interested in smart homes. A smart home is a house that connects smart appliances etc. between each other via a (wireless) internet connection. Nevertheless the Belgian consumer has still some questions on:
– the high cost
– privacy
The study also sees some opportunities for manufacturers of smart home products. More than 50% of the respondents prefer 1 installer for all smart homes products instead of several installers.
